Communicating more effectively on the phone in the workplace (Online)

Prerequisite: A good knowledge of the French language for everyday life and work.

Overall Goals: This workshop is designed for people who are already using telephone communication in their work and who wish to deepen their knowledge in this area.

Intended Learning Outcome:

  • Communicate better in French with clients and public organizations by telephone.
  • Review the formulas and vocabulary to be used to respect the protocol.
  • Using concrete examples, apply the rules of telephone protocol when receiving calls and taking messages, using the usual terminology and formulas specific to telephony.
  • Discover practical techniques to effectively manage delicate situations with clients.
  • Avoiding Anglicisms.

Methodology:

  • Situations and role-playing on business-related themes.
  • A dynamic teaching approach adapted to the needs and experiences of the participants.

Required Material:

  • Headphones and an external microphone
  • High-speed stable internet connection
  • Access to a computer with a minimum of Windows 10 or Mac G5
  • All material will be provided
